Item Description
14.5x23" thin cardboard poster for Jan. 23, 1972 concert featuring "The King Of Soul/Mr. Hot Pants" James Brown and Jean Knight that took place at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Poster features stylized portrait of Brown by New York City artist Izzy Sanabria and also notes Knight's hit "Mr. Big Stuff." Poster shows scattered moderate handling wear, w/1.5" crease/scuff below Brown's hand, 1" scuff above stadium name and 2.75" scuff at bottom center. Lower right has 2.75" streak of staining. Upper left margin has some moisture staining. Still Fine overall. Rare, most posters for this Puerto Rican concert did not survive.
