Item Description
Psychedelic yellow satin jacket w/wide sleeve, sequin polka dots and pink trim w/elastic rainbow band around waist. Jacket design is reminiscent of the jackets worn by The Beatles during the Sgt. Pepper era. Jacket was worn by Frank Zappa during Oct. 11, 1975 concert at Hofheinz Pavilion in Houston, TX. Jacket has been photo matched to photos taken during that concert. Shoulders have snaps for epaulets, which are missing (and seen in photos of Zappa wearing jacket). Some scattered staining to inner lining of jacket and a few tiny snags to jacket's exterior. Fine overall. Comes w/vintage blue satin vest w/embroidered and sequin accents and matching pair of elastic waist harem pants. Vest has some tiny spot of staining to interior but displays VF. Pants have large stain to front of crotch and on back as well as some scattered spots of staining. VG. From the estate of Frank and Gail Zappa, originally sold in Julien's Auctions' Nov. 2016 sale.
