Item Description
Approx. 5.5x17" artboard has pen and ink original art (w/screentone accent) for April 26, 1980 daily strip by Ernie Chan. Art features three panels, showing Conan the Barbarian being apologized to by Asfordor's wife and queen, to which Conan replies not all is lost and that he'll take the jewel as payment, only to discover the magic within said jewel has been expended, leaving it broken lumps of coal. Conan appears in first two panels, including great image of him in second. Top margin has title and "By Roy Thomas And Ernie Chan" stat paste-overs and last panel has writer/artist names paste-over. Conan Properties Inc. copyright strip between first and second panels. Top margin has been trimmed and is slightly uneven. Art remains clean and Exc.
