Item Description
Lot of five foreign Batman issues. Four magazine size Japanese issues #1, 2, 3 and 6. Also a digest size Chinese issue featuring Bat Woman. Magazines feature full color reprint material from earlier US issues. Each issue has a classic pin-up and an Elongated Man feature. Art from Bob Kane, Carmine Infantino and others. Moderate aging/wear overall. Some oxidation on staples. Issue #1 has corner chipping on lower right. Issue #2 has wear at staples and cover is barely attached. Digest issue has aged tape at top and bottom of spine where it was starting to split. Overall issues average VG but present better. Rare hard to find foreign Batman issues. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
