Item Description
10.5" long hard plastic body Batmobile w/translucent plastic canopies and painted figural Batman and Robin figure. Rubber tires. Marx, ©1966 NPP, Inc. While produced at time of the popular "Batman" TV show, this Batmobile was made for the UK market only and differs from all US Batmobiles of the time, featuring a 1950s dream car styled body. Applied batsymbol stickers on doors have aged evenly and Batmobile shows some lt. scattered wear. Plastic hubcaps have melted at edges. Friction mechanism works and produces siren noise, but front tires slip and back are stuck in place. Fine overall. Very rare and the only example we've offered in our 53 years. Comes w/reproduction box for display purposes.
