Offered here is 17x21.5" frame containing Wachsteter's pen and ink original art depicting Ed Sullivan as a circus ringleader along w/Emmett Kelly in his iconic Weary Willie tramp clown persona and Lindon the high wire clown in circus-themed promotional image for March 20, 1960 episode of "The Ed Sullivan Show," which featured "Circus Stars From All Over The World." Detailed bkg. includes circus animals and the Eiffel Tower. Art has been professionally and attractively matted to 12.75x16". Wachsteter has signed at upper right. Exc. Comes w/four aged sheets of paper w/pencil original art showing working sketches for this artwork, including near final image fully rendered in pencil.
