Item Description
18x21.75" deep custom frame holds bw proof stat for Nov. 13, 1943 "Batman And Robin" Sunday page, featuring Penguin story. The "Batman And Robin" Sunday page began Nov. 7, 1943, making this just the second Sunday page printed. This comic strip has important historical significance as it is the last large body of work that Batman creator Bob Kane penciled completely solo. Stat has been double-matted to 10x13.25" and has horizontal crease at center as mailed. VF overall.  Stat is part of great display w/great frame created by artist Dan Makara, featuring collage style utilizing full body Golden Age comic page of Batman and Robin at left/right w/"Batman" title logo at top and Penguin portrait at bottom center.
