Item Description
9x12" artboard features original art by Sheldon "Shelly" Moldoff (1920-2012), who was Bob Kane's first assistant on "Batman" and became a premiere Golden Age artist drawing Hawkman, again drawing Batman in the Silver Age. Pen and ink w/markers original art shows Golden Age Batman reacting to three large and laughing heads of his archnemesis The Joker. Moldoff has signed at lower left, adding "'94" date in black felt tip pen. Lower corners have some faint moisture staining and upper left corner has trace wear but art remains clean and Exc.
