Item Description
2-3/8x3.5" card has "Walt Disney Productions Ltd. - Mickey Mouse Sound Cartoons" name/logo at top w/classic full figure image of waving Mickey. Card bears large 1934 date across lines provided for name/department/issue date. Card bears Hyperion address and bears the name of Jack Cutting (1908-1988), who was hired as a Disney animator in 1929, going on to direct the famous animated short "The Ugly Duckling," which won an Academy Award in 1939. Cutting also headed the foreign department of Disney Studios, supervising the translation/dubbing of voices. He retired from Disney in 1975. Card has some lt. handling creases and even lt. aging but remains clean and VF/Exc. overall.
