Item Description
20x32" paper sign designed to be folded over string for double-sided display to advertise these small photos (listed as ACC #F273-19) packaged in boxes of Kellogg's "Pep" cereal 1947-1948. Total of 42 in set (24 in first series, 18 in second series) and includes a number of athletes such as George Mikan, Sam Snead and MLB players. Sign features 11 small photo examples "Of Movie Stars And Sports Stars" that were packaged in Kellogg's "Pep" cereal, including Humphrey Bogart, Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray, Virginia Mayo, Western actor William Elliott, Hedy Lamarr, Peggy Ann Garner, Chicago White Sox pitcher Orval Grove, All American Halfback Charlie Trippi, boxer Tony Zale and swimmer Adolph Kiefer. Lower left has image of the cover of the matching premium photo album. Tiny corner tip wear but still an unused NM file copy. Great sign. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
