Item Description
"The Flintstones" premiered Oct. 14, 1960 in an episode titled "The Swimming Pool." While some of the original storyboards from this historic episode have surfaced, almost none of the animation cels have been offered to collectors. In 1995, Hanna-Barbera Studios issued this limited edition hand-painted pan cel of Fred and Wilma Flintstone, along w/Barney and Betty Rubble to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of that episode. Offered here is a 19x45" frame containing triple-matted pan cel display, one of just 350 made by the Hanna-Barbera Ink and Paint Department, which immediately sold out. Cel has been numbered "164/350" at lower right by Hanna-Barbera seal (another seal appears at lower left. The cel is further enhanced as it has been hand-signed in black felt tip pen by both Bill Hanna (1910-2001) and Joe Barbera (1911-2006). Exc. display as framed.
