Item Description
Lot of five 10.75x15.75" artboards w/pen and ink original art by Bob Oksner for "Adventures Of Jerry Lewis" #120, published by DC Comics, Oct. 1970. Art is for pages 13-17, and is for "The Lady With 4 Legs" story about Jerry being thrown out of his apartment for hiding his uncle's racehorse from his landlord. The horse runs away and Jerry receives a telegram from his uncle, which causes Jerry and his nephew to file a missing persons report w/the police before hatching a plot to impersonate the horse w/the two of them in a costume. The ruse works and Uncle Yahoo is fooled, only for Lillybelle the horse to return and get Jerry and his nephew kicked out of their apartment again. Last page is composed of three pieces of artboard taped together. Top margin of each page has "Jerry Lewis" stamped name and handwritten issue/page number. Scattered moisture staining at bottom right of first two pages w/handling wear/aging to others. VG/Fine to Fine overall.
