Offered in this auction as items #1412-1433 are the cover and all story pages to "Captain America" #265 (Jan. 1982).  11x17" Marvel Comics artboard featuring Zeck's pen and ink (w/screentone accents) original art for Page 3, featuring six panels showing Captain America's alter ego Steve Rogers fighting a group of hoodlums who are attempting to rob him. Spider-Man's alter ego Peter Parker has rushed in to help, only to be surprised at Steve's fighting prowess. Peter snaps a picture in the first panel as Steve continues to trounce hoodlums, extolling "Of All The Tyrants Who Practice Terror, You - - Who Twist The Liberties Of A Free Society To Your Own Evil Ends - - Are The Worst! The Constitution If Our Country Guarantees The Right Of Every Citizen In This Land To Be Free From Fear! But You Betray The Spirit Of This Land - - Your Home - - - - All The While Demanding The Rights You So Willfully Deny Others!" Peter comments on his skills noting his photos of the fight will make the front page of the Daily Bugle, which causes Steve to request the film. Steve Rogers appears in ever panel. Peter Parker appears in first and last three panels. Art has been inked by John Beatty. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title and inked issue/page number. Text has all been hand-lettered by Jim Novak. Top right corner has been clipped, not affecting art or text. Art remains clean and Exc.
