Item Description

23x29" artboard w/pen and ink original art for Dec. 23, 1962 Sunday page has ten panels featuring Boo Boo commenting as Yogi Bear hangs up immense Christmas stocking while Boo Boo's is a bit less greedy. Ranger Smith arrives w/Santa Claus, asking him to teach Yogi a lesson about being greedy. Christmas morning comes and Boo Boo excitedly empties his full stocking to find numerous treats while Yogi finds a large clay foot in his stocking, much to his chagrin. Pen and ink art is unsigned, but is most likely by Hanna-Barbera newspaper artist Gene Hazleton. Vertical fold at center w/strip of glue staining at title (from missing "Hanna-Barbera's" title paste-over) panel. Some production notations in margins, but art remains clean and VF/Exc.
