Item Description
Vintage 8x10-1/8" glossy publicity photo shows close portrait image of legendary pianist and bandleader of jazz orchestras. Photo has "Duke Ellington And His Orchestra" name at lower left and "William Morris Agency" name at lower right. Faint "Maurice - Chicago" photographer name at lower left. Ellington has boldly signed his name in blue ink at lower right. Photo has some lt. handling wear w/some small corner tip wear, but Ellington's signature is unaffected. If matted, photo would display Exc. Superb image and bold signature. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
