Item Description

14x22" glossy stock poster for May 6, 1973 concert that took place at the Sports Arena venue. Concert was in support of the 1973 Alice Cooper album "Billion Dollar Babies." The tour broke the US box office record previously held by The Rolling Stones and included a scheduled 64 concerts in 59 cities in 90 days. Poster features stylized image of the band in white tuxedos dancing on bloody map of the US w/scattered "Billion Dollar Baby" coins. Poster has been boldly signed in black felt tip pen by Cooper himself across his own name and has also been signed in black felt tip pen by four of five members of the classic era band line-up - Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway and Michael Bruce (missing only Glen Buxton). Poster shows some scattered margin wear, w/creasing and some small scattered tears. Area approx. 1" to 2" above Cooper's signature has aged 2.75" long strip of tape and 3" long area of above that of tape staining w/partial surface paper lift. This blends somewhat. Upper margin has .25x5" spot of surface paper lift w/mismatched color touch-up and lower right corner has 1" strip of surface paper loss. This also blends somewhat and poster still displays Fine overall. Superb signed vintage piece. Comes w/Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
