Item Description
15.5" tall figure w/wooden arms/legs and painted composition body and head. Designed by artist Maxfield Parrish and manufactured by Cameo Doll Co. for store display purposes w/slotted hands that held advertising cards. c. 1930s. "RCA Radiotrons" text is repeated on front/back on red sash decal as well as decal on hat band. Typical craze lines to composition head. Scattered lt. wear/aging w/slight fade to one hand, o/w VF. Wonderful design w/impish grin and wood-painted hat in the shape of a radio tube. Classic advertising item. See Parrish offerings, #1705-1734.
