Item Description
Large and impressive 13x17" animation artboard has full rendered and painted master bkg. showing nighttime scene w/full body image of Gulliver asleep as the Lilliputians work to tie him down. Used in production of the 1939 Fleischer Studios animated feature film based on the Lilliputian adventures of Gulliver as depicted in Jonathan Swift's novel "Gulliver's Travels." Top margin has "F8-1" and "(6-57)" inked notations while margins have some scattered pencil notations. Pinholes at corners w/strips of tape staining along top margin. Fine overall, art remains clean and would display Exc. if matted and framed. Stunning master background, much more detailed than typically scene and displays on its own as a fully realized piece of art. Jan Wahl Collection.
