1.5" dia. w/The Spirit portrait image w/"Extra... 16 Page Comic Book - Star Journal - Every Sunday" text. c. 1942. One of two different red/white button issued at this time; each was issued for a different paper and used a totally different image of The Spirit. No backpaper as issued. Typical trace of surface oxidation of metal reverse. Front has pinpoint nick below last letter of Sunday, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection. Front remains totally bright, glossy and Exc. for display. Scarce.
