Item Description
11-3/8x21" w/San Francisco union bug at lower right. AOR 2.363. After returning from Vietnam in 1964 this was the first poster produced by iconic psychedelic artist Wes Wilson. Reverse has two horizontal stripes of masking tape across the top and a 1.25" drip of paint. Front has: a 1/4" vertical tear at top affecting the "E" in "Are"; tape pulls at top center, right margin near top; in the cream field 5.5" from the top and center and at bottom right margin; eight staple and pin holes along lower edge and five along top edge; corner bends that barely break paper's surface and overall light toning and handling wear. VG. This is a rare first printing made in extremely limited quantities and is the first we have offered.
