Item Description
22.75x24" artboard has original airbrushed and watercolored image by noted psychedelic concert poster artist Stanley Mouse. This early 1960s art features a number of grotesque characters, very similar in style to Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's character Rat Fink, etc. as Mouse worked w/him early in his career. It is most likely this piece was done at that time. Included are dancing pig, dog, duck, chicken and one-eyed monsters. Rough image of woman and band in bkg. Large painted signature at lower right, featuring an early version of Mouse's distinctive running mouse sketch. Pin holes at corners w/some edge aging/wear. VF overall, but art remains Exc. Nice large image area from early in Mouse's career.
