Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated label applied to lid contains 5.5x9.5" long tin litho motorcycle w/side car, clearly depicting a 1957 English "Sunbeam" motorcycle. Made in Japan by Marusan, 1950s. Box has even lt. aging and corner tip wear. Complete w/original cardboard insert. VF. Motorcycle features plated spoked wheels w/rubber tires, including spare on back of side car. These came in four different varieties, this is one w/red tank and three operating lights. Highly detailed including "Sunbeam" logo on sides of gas tank and intact plated side car windshield w/original plastic. Toy has separate switches for the lights and for two speeds forward, all working. Exc. One of the best of the motorcycle toys of the 1950s.
