Item Description
Lot of four items. 2.75" square plastic base has plastic replica baseball bank w/"Citizens National Bank" imprint and covered w/facsimile signatures of the 1958 team roster. Coin slot on underside. From 1958, first year Dodgers were in LA. Names include Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges, Duke Snider, Don Newcombe and others. Ball is evenly aged but VF overall. Other items in lot are all from 1963, the year the Dodgers won the World Series. Included are two approx. 4" china dishes, one in shape of spade, one in shape of heart; part of a bridge set. Both feature same "Los Angeles Dodgers - World Champions" text w/gold luster rim accents. This shows more wear on heart dish, but both are VF/Exc. overall. 16.75x25.5" cloth banner w/wooden hanging rod and cord at top features"Dodgers Charge!" text at top/bottom w/pennant image that reads "1963 National League Champs." This appears above cartoon explosion at center w/"Bomb The Yankees" text. Yankees fly from explosion w/player mentioned by name, including "Murder Maris!, Mangle Mickey," etc. Banner has lt. even aging w/a few small age spots. VF.
