Item Description
Lot of four, dating to the 1930s. Lot includes three identical style 2.25x2.5" dia. celluloid and plated metal barrel banks w/metal feet, ends are celluloid w/fronts having same image of stork w/baby and "Congratulations" text. Two have matching imprints for Farmers State Bank of Hanover, PA while third has The Tamaqua National Bank of Tamaqua, PA imprint. All by Parisian Novelty Co. As noted on backsides, banks did not come w/key as banks held keys. One has foxing on one side, hairlines on opposite side. Fine. Other two are VF. 2.75" tall chrome-plated steel barrel bank w/painted brass slot and trap ends for Anaheim Building & Loan Ass'n of Anaheim, CA. No key as bank held key. Scattered lt. wear/aging. VF.
