9.25x12.25" first edition hardcover w/144 pages and original dustjacket. Subtitled "The Greatest Covers Of Action Comics From The '30s To The '50s," book was published by Artabras. ©1993 DC Comics. Book features many classic "Action Comics" covers featuring Superman. Inside frontispiece has been signed by two comic industry legends, both closely associated w/the early days of Superman. Jack Burnley - the first artist after co-creator Jack Shuster to draw Superman - has signed in black felt tip pen, adding "Best Wishes, Charlie From Your Friends, Jack Burnley '97." Comic book editor and artist Vincent Sullivan - the man responsible for buying Superman from creators Jerry Siegel and Shuster - has signed in blue felt tip pen, adding "To Charlie - A Great Friend And The Best Of Hosts! Vincent Sullivan 1997." Some lt. wear to DJ, but o/w Exc. Signatures were obtained in-person. Charlie Roberts Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
