Item Description
13x17" printed muslin flag features nine sections w/characters including Popeye, Olive Oyl, Tillie the Toiler, Maggie and Jiggs, Toots and Casper, Little Annie Rooney, Katzenjammer Kids, Flash Gordon, Barney Google, Krazy Kat and Ignatz. 1937. Flag is folded as issued, w/a few age spots, but retains deep, rich color. VF/Exc. Comes w/15.5x21.5" newspaper ad from the "Pictorial Review - Delineator." Illustrations/text explain in detail how to acquire the illustrated flag for 10¢ plus mail-in coupon. Folded as issued w/.25" chip out of lower right and small tear by fold along right margin. Page is aged and Fine overall.
