Item Description
8x13.75x9.25" tall cardboard box contains 12 pint bottles of flavored "Syrups For Soft Drinks". Space Foods Co. of Baltimore, MD. c. 1950s. Box is illustrated with space images including spacemen bottle images and "Asteroid Airdrome" base. Box complete with dividers shows lt. aging/trace of wear and is VF. Glass bottles each shaped like spacemen with painted details and original labels. Complete with caps and cardboard tabs that fit under caps, each bottle never filled and remain in immaculate condition. Flavors marked on sides and tops of caps include: Orange, Grape, Black Cherry, Lemon-Lime and Black Raspberry. Each spaceman has "Saturn" name and planet image with different colors/ranks. Ranks include: "Space Admiral, Space Bombardier, Space Sentry, Space Navigator, Interplanetary Commander, Space Scout, Space Ace, Orbit Admiral, Asteroid Commander and Space Commander". Duplicate rank of "Space Ace." Bottles also doubled as banks as caps have coin slot. Bottles NM. Rarely found this nice and complete.
