Item Description
27.25x41" one-sheet poster for the original 1953 release of Paramount Pictures' sci-fi film starring Gene Barry and Ann Robinson. Widely considered to be one of the great sci-fi films of the 1950s, poster features stunning image of large Martian hand reaching towards man and woman under the film's title w/planets in bkg. Originally folded, poster has now been linen-mounted and has had some professional restoration along fold lines. This includes some color touch-ups, but these blend well and are only really noticeable in reflected light. Margins have also had repairs to small edge tears and corners have had some touch-ups as well. Poster remains bright and clean w/vivid color and displays Exc. as restored and linen-mounted. Classic poster for one of the top 1950s sci-fi films.
