8.25x13.25" large photo mounted on 9x15" cream matte and framed under glass in original 16.5x23" wood veneer frame. Trivial wear to frame. One tiny age dot on very pale green backing paper at left. Signed at bottom edge of Harrison & Ewing, Washington DC matte. Reads in full "Mr. Leroy T. Vernon With Kind Regards From His Friend Charles W. Fairbanks 1908." From the collection of Leroy T. Vernon, a campaign manager for Taft and later Washington D.C. reporter for the Chicago Daily News. Comes with Hake's COA. Exc.
