23-3/8x27-3/8" frame contains open canvas w/mixed media painting by Wayne Boring, a comic book artist best known for his work on Superman from the late 1940s to the 1960s. Original art depicts full body image of Superman in mid-air, about to land on rocky outcrop. Futuristic-looking Metropolis is seen in bkg., w/attention to "Daily Planet" building as rocketship flies by. 1982 as Boring has signed at bottom right corner, adding "Pompano Beach '82" notation/date.
