From same publication as previous item #1681. 14x18-3/8" thin artboard has pen and ink original art for page 34 and features seven panels, showing Alacazar relating story of how he fought skull-faced Arnak and was killed. Second panel shows Alacazar's spirit (utilized w/great screentone effect) rising from his corpse, his face merging w/Arnak's in third panel, enabling him to cancel some of his power. Fourth through sixth panels show Odkin discussing the existence of Arnak, mentioning all the names he has been called. Last panel shows Arnak's goblin forces attacking people amidst flames. All art by Wood, recognized for his work at EC Comics w/"MAD" and sci-fi titles, Topps' series of "Mars Attacks" gum cards as well as his work on "Daredevil" for Marvel Comics. Some of Wood's preliminary blue pencil art is visible and margin's have two editorial notations. Artboard has some lt. aging to screentone, but art is o/w clean and VF/Exc. See following item #1683.
