Item Description
Art boards range in size from 13x14” to 13.75x15.5” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed at bottom of images. Art is for Harvey Publications "Sad Sack’s Funny Friends" comics #30 Nov. 1960, #31 Jan. 1961, #32 March 1961, and #33 May 1961. Scenes include: sweating in desert while carrying battery powered fan to cool General, tripping into TV screen w/broken glass hitting General, missing football which bounces off Sarge causing him to spit coffee on General, washing dishes causing water to hit General. Muttsy the dog is on three covers. A few margin pencil notes, art board to # 32 is miss-numbered in pencil as done by the artist. Image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
