11x17" Marvel Comics artboard has pencil (with blue pencil lines visible, mainly within hand-lettered word balloons) original art by Tom Grindberg with inks by Bill Anderson for story page 10 from Silver Surfer Vol. 3 #102, published by Marvel Comics March 1995. Spectacular splash page shows Silver Surfer angrily confronting a towering Galactus, demanding to be turned back to his human form. Galactus is seen in profile, warning the Surfer not to anger him while piloting his Worldship towards a crater-covered planet visible in the near distance. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Center right margin has some inked editorial notations and center left/right margins each have printer's hole punch. Bottom margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by both Grindberg (who adds "'97" date) and Anderson. Back has some rough preliminary pencils, including small rendering of planet. Lower right corner has "Tom Grindberg - Penciler" inkstamp. Artboard has some tape residue along lower left and at lower right corner. Art otherwise remains clean and Exc. A truly dynamic splash page, and a great example of Grindberg's '90s Silver Surfer work. Lawrence Klein Collection.
