11-1/8x17" DC Comics artboard has pencil original art by Steve Lieber w/inks by Jerry Bingham for story page 16 of Hawkman Vol. 3, #27, published by DC Comics Dec. 1995. Part of the 1995 "Underworld Unleashed" crossover event, page features five panels, w/large half-page splash at top showing Hawkman battling the Silent Knight, one of Hawkman's past lives. Of note, the original version of the character was drawn wearing a simple helm over a chainmail coif as seen in third and fourth panels. First panel features pasted edit w/original art depicting the Silent Knight's iconic winged helmet. Word balloons are pasted stats. Top margin has inked title, issue/pages numbers as well as the signature of inker Bingham. Top/bottom center have aged strips of tape that extends slightly into image area at bottom; touching edge of art. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Artboard has some corner tip wear and scattered lt. dust soiling to margins, but art remains clean and Exc.
