11-1/8x17" DC Comics artboard has pencil original art by Steve Lieber w/inks by Jerry Bingham for story page 22 (final page) of Hawkman Vol. 3, #27, published by DC Comics Dec. 1995. Part of the 1995 "Underworld Unleashed" crossover event, page features seven panels, w/large splash at top showing nude Katar Hol standing beside a defeated Hawkman, who has a spear-like protrusion sticking out of his chest. Neron appears as Katar is once again depicted in his Hawkman uniform, confused about what just happened. Neron explains that all the prior Hawk-Souls were awake within Katar, driving him to madness in last panel as Hawkwoman (in civilian clothes) runs to him. Word balloons and preview text block at bottom are pasted stats. Top margin has penciled/inked title, issue/pages numbers as well as the inked signature of inker Bingham. Top/bottom center have aged strips of tape that extends slightly into image area at bottom; touching very edge of art. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Artboard has some corner tip wear and scattered lt. dust soiling to margins, but art remains clean and Exc.
