11x17" artboard has pen and ink original art by Luke McDonnell for What If? Vol. 2 #44, published by Marvel Comics Dec. 1992. Page #23 is from Kurt Busiek's "What If...Venom Had Possessed The Punisher" storyline and features seven panels, showing Venomized Punisher dropping a huge bell on Spider-Man. Spider-Man shoots him w/Reed Richards' sonic blaster. Two panels also include Daredevil and Moon Knight. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers. Bottom margin has blue ink inscription/signature by McDonnell. Printer hole punches at center left/right margins. Lt. aging/handling wear w/some lt. margin dust soiling, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this art was produced for. Lawrence Klein Collection.
