11.25x17" DC Comics/Vertigo/WildStorm artboard has pencil original art by Darryl Banks w/inks by Paul Neary for story page 26 for JLA/The Spectre: Soul War #2, published by DC Comics Feb. 2003. Page features four panels; showing the Martian Manhunter phase from his more familiar form to that of his native Martian before large splash panel reveals him being commandeered as a vessel for a member of The Trans, an alien species invading Earth. Batman reacts by telling invader to "Got To Hell!" in last panel. Martian Manhunter only appears in his traditional forms in first panel and Batman only appears in last panel. All word balloons have been hand-lettered w/a few corrections. Top margin has inked title, issue/pages numbers and has been signed by Banks in black felt tip pen, adding "'03" date. Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp and inked number. Art remains clean and Exc.
