When questioned by Gordon, Batman reveals that Robin is not actually dead, but that Batman will now operate alone. Last panel features Vicki Vale in bed talking to Alfred on the phone. This issue features the introduction of the post-Crisis Jason Todd. Final appearance of Dick Grayson as Robin. All word balloons are pasted stats.
