8-7/8x13-1/8" stiff cardboard slipcase contains high quality reprint of the yearly almanac published by Benjamin Franklin, who adopted the pseudonym of "Poor Richard" or "Richard Saunders" for this purpose. The publication appeared continually from 1732 to 1758. This edition was printed in 1964 by The Limited Edition Club as "Number Twelve" in their series of limited edition books. Slipcase spine label has some aging and scattered wear. Fine/VF. 1,500 copies were printed, this has been numbered "112." Book is bound in three-quarter leather and marbled paper-covered boards and features illustrations by renowned artist Norman Rockwell, who has boldly signed in ink on last page (colophon) above edition number. Book is covered by original onionskin cover, which is aged and shows some lt. scattered wear. Page edges have some lt. age spotting but o/w book is clean and Exc. Comes w/"The Limited Editions Club" sheet announcing details of the book and its imminent delivery as well as folder w/brief Benjamin Franklin history and edition specifics.
