Item Description
The Minneapolis Lakers were founded in 1947 and moved to Los Angeles, CA. in 1960. Offered here are pair of 7x9" glass trays w/beveled edges. Smoked glass tray w/gold luster basketball images is dated 1961 while other is 1962. Earliest tray features name of basketball stars and later tray features photos. HOF members Elgin Baylor and Jerry West are featured as are Coach Fred Schaus and Hot Rod Hundley among others. Smoked glass tray has tiny chip at one back corner, o/w Exc. and both are rare early Lakers items. From the Paul Muchinsky Collection.
