Item Description
7/8” beautifully designed button showing Orville & Wilbur Wright. The brothers achieved powered flight in 1903. They spent the following years defending their patents and this button was issued six years later upon their return from Europe to a huge welcome in their home town. Button reads “Wright Brothers/Home Celebration/Dayton Ohio/June 17-18/1909.” Has W&H paper. Few tiny age dots around the reverse collet. Front has couple of faint scuff lines barely seen in reflected light and still displaying glossy Mint.
