12x16.5" silk-screened nylon banner w/wooden dowel rod at top capped w/turned wood points and w/tasseled braided cord for hanging. Summerfield Prod. 1940s. Full text reads "Listen To The Boston Braves...Brought To You By Ballantine - America's Largest Selling Ale" w/Ballantine "Purity - Body - Flavor" tri-ring logo at bottom. The Boston Braves franchise started in 1871 as the Boston Red Stockings and continues today as the Atlanta Braves. The team was the Boston Braves 1912-1935 and 1941-1952.
