Item Description
8x13" die-cut cardboard display contains one 3" long figural hard plastic rocket-shaped pin. Display originally contained six. United States Electric Mfg. Corp. 1950s. Text on bottom reads "Free! Official Space Cadet Rocket-Lite Squadron Membership Card With Every Light." When nose switch was pushed, tail would glow red. This function no longer works as is typical. Rockets have "Tom Corbett Space Cadet" raised text. Pin has some lt. scattered aging but is Exc. overall. Card is variety w/original price circle noting purchase price of "79¢ With Battery" (also offered for 69¢). Card shows aging/fading and wear w/some creasing to die-cut slots for holding pins. Original easel back in place. VG overall. Comes w/2.25x3-5/8" unused "Tom Corbett Space Cadet 'Rocket-Lite' Squadron" membership card w/illustration of Tom Corbett. Card is lightly aged w/slightly darker aging at margins, but VF overall.
