Item Description
6-1/8" long tin litho Batmobile. Made in Japan by Ichimura Co. Ltd., c. 1966. Exclusive to the Japanese market. Three rubber wheels on underside as produced. This is red/blue color variety (also produced in red/yellow). Body of Batmobile has three batsymbols as well as image of Batman on trunk area and "Batman" name in Japanese. Hood features two half-circle die-cut windows that allow for viewing of separate tin litho disc w/bats on it that spins as car is pushed. Friction works. Roof has two small 1/8" spots of bare metal showing, but this blends somewhat and Batmobile still displays VF. Neat design.
