Pair of boxes contain unused premiums issued by Wheaties. First is "Jack Armstrong Sound Effects Kit And Microphone" issued in 1941 in 2.25x4.75x1" deep illustrated cardboard mailing box. Kit includes a 4.5x12.5" sheet w/microphone image to be cut out and wrapped around mailing box, a broom handle was then inserted into one end to serve as microphone; 10x27" double-sided paper w/instructions and "Spy Hunt" script; two different painted tin whistles, small piece of sand paper, sheet of orange cellophane paper. While not sealed, box appears to never have been opened and does not have a mailing label. Still an untouched example and being sold as such. NM, w/unused contents Mint as issued. Second is "Jack Armstrong Secret Bomb Sight" (see previous item #2605 for details/pictures), issued in 1942. Box remains sealed by original tape. NM w/unused contents Mint as issued.
