Item Description

Poster was printed in Sept. 1942 by American Educators Wartime Council and has © Superman, Inc. text by image. One of three similar but different war years posters printed in support of "This Program Approved And Initiated By The U.S. Treasury Department And The U.S. Office Of Education." Additional text "This School Proudly Participates" w/blank box provided for school's name, though this example remains unused. Some creasing at fold line, but sign remains bright and clean. VF/Exc. overall. Rare and one of only a few known. Impressive display piece. From the Don Maris Collection.
