Item Description
Lot of three items for MLB Hall of Famer and Baltimore Oriole legend Frank Robinson. First is vintage 8x10" glossy bw news service photo showing the dedication of "Robinson Road" in a Baltimore neighborhood by Mayor Theodore McKeldin, a large banner reading "You Are Entering...Robinson Road - Formerly Cedardale Road - Renamed For Our Neighbor Frank Robinson" and features Oriole mascot w/bat. Back of photo has numerous notations, including Sept. 27, 1966 date. Photo comes from the Tribune Archives of the Baltimore Sun newspaper and comes w/COA. Also included in lot are two 3" dia. litho buttons picturing Robinson in his Orioles cap, both premiums for Schmidt's Blue Ribbon Bread. c. 1960s. Scattered rim wear but fronts remain glossy. Fine overall. Nice trio of items for this baseball star.
