Item Description
14x22" thin cardboard window card for Nov. 25, 1929 performance at Ford's Opera House in Baltimore, MD. Card was published by Otis Litho Co. of Cleveland, OH. and is marked "O-2442" at bottom right. Superb graphics feature multiple images of Thurston in tuxedo; levitating woman through hoop, across stage and in front of orchestra musicians. Total of four different Thurston illustrations depict "One Of Thurston's Astounding Mysteries - She Floats All Over The Stage And Into The Audience, Then Vanishes Like A Fading Cloud." Ford's Opera House marquee at top w/printed date. Horizontal fold at center, card has some lt. edge wear w/.5" tears at left/right edges of fold. Right side has 2.75" surface paper break that has been reinforced w/strip of paper tape on back of fold. Corner tip wear. VG overall w/great graphics and strong color and would frame for a VF appearance.
