See #1763-1765. 7x22.75” thin art board titled “Cross Word Solution” in pencil in margin has India ink art w/four panels. Trixie is trying to stop a runaway horse, falls down, and Skeezix and friend come to help her. She won’t tell who let the horse loose because “He Said He’d Box My Ears”. Panel three is signed in ink “King” by creator Frank King. Margins and image area have dust soil and aging. Image area will mat and frame to Good/VG appearance. Well drawn early example.
