7.5x30x2.5" deep illustrated cardboard box w/die-cut display lid contains complete Mattel set, ©1961. Box shows some scattered aging/soiling w/die-cut display punched out but intact. Fine. Set consists of 24.5" long "Official Mattel Tommy-Burst Automatic Cap-Firing Gun," 6.5" long "Official Detective Snub Nose .38" which are both for use w/"Greenie Stik-M-Caps," soft plastic "Private-Eye Snap-Drawn Shoulder Holster" as well as six "Shootin' Shell" cartridges, 12 safe plastic bullet noses. Includes "Detective Squad Badge, Personal I.D. Card And Wallet." Tommy gun is all plastic w/exception of trigger. Revolver is chrome luster die-cast w/brown swirl plastic grips. Both are unfired. NM set. Rare boxed set, first we've offered in our 47 years.
